Medical Director: Kenneth P. Stoller, MD

Kenneth P. Stoller, MD, is President of the International Hyperbaric Medical Association, a Fellow of the American College of Hyperbaric Medicine, a Diplomat of the American Board of Pediatrics, a Diplomat of the American Board of Hyperbaric Medicine, a member of the American College for Hyperbaric Medicine, and a member of the New Mexico Medical Society. He was University of California President's Undergraduate Fellow in the UCLA Medical Center's Department of Anesthesiology, and has almost two decades of clinical experience in pediatric medicine. Dr. Stoller was first exposed to Aerospace Medicine in 1970, when he helped download data from NASA's Bio satellite III mission at the Brain Research Institute at UCLA. In 1995, the heart of a close friend of Dr. Stoller stopped beating. When he was resuscitated by paramedics, catastrophic brain damage had already occurred - he was in a coma for almost a month. It was Dr. Stoller's frustration with the therapy then offered his brain injured friend that revived his interest in the field, specifically Hyperbaric Medicine. Dr. Stoller's intention is to raise the level of consciousness about the benefits of this new medical specialty, and make it available to as many patients as possible.

Engineering Director: Stephen Reimers, PE

Mr. Reimers was introduced to hyperbarics as a young Naval officer in 1969 and has been designing and building hyperbaric facilities ever since. He is a long-time member of the committees that manage the two codes that most affect clinical hyperbarics; ASME PVHO-1 Safety Code on Pressure Vessels for Human Occupancy and Chapter 19 Hyperbaric Facilities of NFPA 99 Health Care Facilities. Presently he runs two companies, Reimers Systems, Inc. (RSI) and Hyperbaric Clearinghouse, Inc. (HCI). RSI is a major installer of monoplace chambers. They have developed liquid cylinder based oxygen supply systems and air ventilation equipment that make it possible to establish a monoplace center nearly anywhere.

Safety Director: Franklin Brightwater

Franklin Brightwater earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Integrative Biology from the University of California at Berkeley. He focused in Human Biology, Anatomy, and Physiology. He obtained his hyperbaric medical training from International ATMO in San Antonio, Texas, and he is certified as a Hyperbaric Technologist (CHT) by the National Board of Diving and Hyperbaric Medical Technology. Franklin is also a nationally registered Emergency Medical Technician (EMT-B) and he aspires to become a physician.
